Virginia Shared Services Network
The Virginia Shared Services Network is a project of Child Care Aware of Virginia. The goal is to assist child care centers and family child care providers to support and strengthen the quality of early learning settings and to improve financial stability. This program is open to all centers and family child care providers committed to affordable, quality early learning settings.
In this economy, we have seen some child care programs go out of business and others forced to make compromises in quality. This program is designed to help child care programs save money, save time, and to invest in the quality of care. Child Care Aware of Virginia chose this innovative approach because it offers a one-stop approach for child care and early learning resources. It offers group discounts for common services and products that individual programs alone could not access. Together, we can achieve economies of scale that will result in programs that are financially stable and that are better able to reinvest resources to improve quality.
